I got hit by a Cricket ball on my left temple?

I got hit by a cricket ball on my left temple (hit very hard) my left check bone is swelling a bit but the actual problem is the next morning when I woke up I spitted some blood, I was really shocked on seeing this, my throat was feeling dry and often I spit blood with phlegm, Is this both interconnected? does getting hit near the temple or nose region causes to spit blood
