Has anyone noticed teams who change their name/uniform usually do good for that season?

Tennessee Oilers change to Titans and go to first superbowl. NY Giants change uniforms back to old style and go to superbowl. Tampa Bay Devil Rays change to Rays and go to World Series. Chargers change uniforms and go to AFC championship game.The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim change to the Ducks and win the Stanley Cup. Is there something about changing uniforms/name that makes teams more successful?
